NEW DATA PROTECTION REGULATIONS (GDPR)

New Data Protection Regulations affect all organisations holding information about individuals.
The information we have about our members is submitted voluntarily on the Membership Subscription Form each season, ie: Name; Address; Telephone number; email address.
This information is to allow us to acknowledge your subscription, and to issue new Membership Cards and the current season's Programme each year.  It may, but only if necessary, be used to inform members of cancellation, change of venue etc.  The information is held by the Membership Secretary, and used to send information by post or email.
The Membership Subscription Forms are stored until the start of the new season, and then destroyed within one month.
Details are stored on paper, but, electronic use of information is unavoidable in the use of emails.
We never give members' details to anyone else.
Members can request to view or amend their details, or have them deleted from our records, at any time.  This will be done with immediate effect.
