Apologies to anyone who was concerned that this website's address somehow got flagged as "bad", "malicious" or "phishing" or similar. We think this was a "false positive" or some issue at weebly.com. We've rebuilt the website here (no longer hosted on weebly.com) to make sure it doesn't happen again.

tetbury film society

Tetbury Film Society's season runs from September to April.
We show films in the Dolphins Hall and all our screenings are on Wednesdays.
See the FILMS page for details of the programme, including dates.
Each year we put together a mixed programme of nine films for members and casual visitors (we like to think of them all as members-to-be) to share.

Film can be powerful, magical, challenging, comforting, informative and joyous. What we look for is a varied programme of great films that people might not otherwise get to see, films that need to be shared and talked about, films to warm the heart, films that need to be seen on a big screen, and films that are just a joy to watch.

Join us for the whole season, or just come along when you can to watch a film together.

Join us for the new season

Tetbury Film Society is accepting new members and renewals for the new season, which will start in September 2023.
Membership is by annual subscription and the rate for the new season is £27.
Your subscription gives you entry to nine films every season.
That works out at only £3 per film. On a BIG screen, with proper surround sound, and shared with an audience who just love great films. Sold? Find a membership form here.

If you don't want to join, or just want to see a particular film, we are always happy to welcome guests (non members), paying £6 per film at the door.

Brilliant films and a warm welcome

Tetbury Film Society screenings are at the Dolphins Hall in Tetbury.
We have a large screen, high quality projector and Dolby surround sound system to show brilliant films at their best.

We would like to thank all our loyal members who continue to subscribe every year, helping us bring great films to Tetbury. Our particular thanks also go to the Dolphins Hall Trustees for their ongoing support.

The society has been a member of the British Federation of Film Societies (AKA Cinema For All) since opening in 1999.

We are happy to have HM The Queen Consort as our patron.

A long-standing aim of Tetbury Film Society has been to co-operate with and assist local organisations and institutions. For many years we have held an annual fund raiser film screening for each of Longfield Hospice and Tetbury Hospital, raising thousands of pounds.

We are also pleased to support other charitable and community organisations in the town (the Feoffees, Tetbury in Bloom, Tetbury Lions etc) and we have made our equipment available for them to use on many occasions.
